Having parents participate in classrooms has always been a key element of the Open Classroom philosophy. We truly believe in the village approach to helping our kids grow and develop into strong, independent, lifelong learners, and each family brings with it unique knowledge, skills, and perspectives. The co-oping component is our vehicle for enriching the learning experience for all children. That element has not changed. We may find challenges getting in-person, face to face, co-oping back into the classroom, but if our current situation has taught us anything, it's that our families are resilient, creative. This year we'll find new innovative ways to include co-opers in our learning. I am excited to see what we will design together to make your commitment of time as a co-oper, just as meaningful as it has always been. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.
